The Hip Hop Hall of Fame is dedicated to the mission of educating fans on the history of Hip-Hop and its significance in entertainment as well as its cultural impact. This organization aspires to follow in the footsteps of The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to preserve the past, present and future of Hip-Hop. Hip-Hop gave urban communities a voice of recognition, and we hope with the profits we can give back to those same communities. With The Hip Hop Hall Of Fame, we can create many jobs, educational programs, and help with urban development. The Hip Hop Hall Of Fame museum and award show will give the great artists of the past, present, and future, the proper recognition they deserve. Following the criteria of many other Halls Of Fame, we plan to induct the greatest artists and individuals who paved the way for Hip-Hop to be the world renown genre of music  it is today. Criteria include the influence and significance of the artists or person of great impact who contributed to the development and perpetuation of Hip-Hop. We wont only consider the sales figures as part of the criteria, since there is not always a correlation between popularity, but mainly influence and innovation.

     Another goal of many is to establish a yearly award show in honor of the inductees. With the inductions of the Hip-Hop legends to the Hall Of Fame we would also like to give awards to the top artists for their accomplishments of that year. This award show will celebrate artists of both the old and new generations, allowing both parties to enjoy the celebration of Hip-Hop culture. The fans will have a part in the voting system along with a special Nominating Committee, which will include the most important figures in Hip-Hop. The Hip Hop Hall Of Fame will be located in New York as it is, of course, the birthplace of Hip-Hop. It will include the Museum, retail gift shop, sports bar, restaurant, lounge, and concert hall for special performances or events. The Museum will feature many interactive exhibits, galleries, displays, and memorabilia. The Hip Hop Hall Of Fame focuses on telling the story of Hip Hop and giving the fans a first person view and explanation to why Hip-Hop is the phenomenon it is today.
